Schöne Lage direkt am Strand, freundlicher Service, gutes zum Strand hin offenes Restaurant und Liegewiese unter Palmen. Der Tower wird gerade renoviert (Aufzüge und Empfang), die Zimmer dort verfügen über ein modernes Bad und, dank einer großen Panoramascheibe über eine herrliche Aussicht.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Resort Penang (Beach Wing) for 3 nights and despite some minor issues enjoyed our stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful, locationwise very close to various restaurants albeit at the far end of Batu Ferringhi. Breakfast is good value for money, a big selection however sometimes a long wait for refills. What we found  unpleasant were the smelly carpets in the hallway (overdue to be cleaned) and some traffic noise (our room was towards the road and not the beach, so maybe you are better of choosing a room with beach view). We would recommend not to book the taxi back to the airport with the hotel but use a taxi from outside instead. The hotel charges MYR 90, whereas you are charged MYR 70 if you hail one from the street (agree price before boarding).

住的是HILL VIEW那栋楼.高层也能看见海.房间内的设施和卫生情况还是非常好的,可以达到4星标准.只是房间里有非常大的发霉的味道,住在里面非常难受. 从机场可以直接做102路公车到酒店,不堵车的情况大概1小时40分钟左右.

Huone Ferringhi Towerissa (parvekkeellinen huone merinäköalalla) oli hieno. Näköalat 22. kerroksesta olivat hyvät. Hotellin aamiainen oli monipuolinen ja maistuva. Allasalue ja ranta-alue olivat hyvät lapsiperheen kannalta. Läheisen moskeijan rukousäänet herättivät aluksi aamuisin.

We had a great view over looking the beach even though we were in the hillside resort, rooms were very clean and comfortable, easy access to the beach and night market at night. the overpass connecting the two wings of the hotel has beautiful flowers, the hotel staff is friendly and helpful. bus station right outside the front door of the building

I was a bit upset with the service from holiday inn penang in ferringi beach. I have booked 2 rooms via internet. The norm check in time was 2 pm but when we arrived at 5 pm one of the room are still not ready. Reason given was late check out from previous guest as rooms was already allocated. So no other choice we took the room key to put our baggages  while waiting for the 2 room. But when we reach our room, it was a smoking floor which we highlighted we wanted non smoking floor. And the strench in the room was bad. We went to reception to ask for another room but was told to wait and there are other guest checking in and they got their room. There is a problem with the hotel management. My impression for holiday inn was good but now no more.

ショッピングセンターとジョージタウンに行くバスがあるとフロントのツアーデスクに表示されていたので バスの出発時間の20分前に次のバスの出発時間は間違いないかとそのツアーデスクで確認した。その際、そこで予約が必要だったのだが、スタッフはひとことも教えてくれず、その時間でよい、とだけ返事。ペナンのほかのホテル(複数)に泊まった経験から、宿泊客はフリー(ただ)で、待っていれば乗れると思いこんでいたら、バスはなんの合図もなく時間通りに来て行ってしまった。どのバスかも表示はなくフロントにいたがスタッフはだれもおしえてくれなかった。 フロントにクレームするとツアー会社のバスなのでホテルは関係ないとのこと。ツアーデスクのスタッフに言えと。 ツアーデスクのスタッフは明らかに乗るのがわかっているのに、予約しま  すと言わなければ知らない!ということらしく、この対応に関してはとても不愉快だった。 ホテルも関知しないというのではなく、フロントのスタッフがバス乗る人いませんか?と声をかけるくらいの配慮はできないものかと思った。ローカルバスなら#101のバスに乗ればいいよと、教えてくれたバゲジ係のスタッフがいたのでホテルに対する印象はそれ以上悪くならなかったが。。。
